I’m a surfer from Cornwall, and I started reselling at 15 to make a bit of extra money on the side.

I started out selling clothing, just selling what I could get my hands on. Then started sourcing clothing via suppliers and buying in bulk. Some lessons were expensive, including getting scammed more than once and joining a few ‘supplier memberships’ that ended in empty bank accounts every time. But eventually, I realised I didn’t need any of that. At this point, two years in, I knew exactly what sold. I just didn’t have any solid way of sourcing exactly what I wanted to sell. But then it clicked.

I kicked it right back to ‘basics’ and just started flipping items on Vinted. But this time with a clear sourcing plan in place. By age 17/18, reselling had grown from making the odd bit of cash here and there, to multiple four figures in monthly sales. All from just flipping a few items a day on Vinted...

Now it fits around the rest of my life and heading into uni. I started Vinted Resell to share that anyone can make money online. You don’t need a big start up budget. You don’t need to pay £1000s for a course. And you don’t need to slave away for hours working on something that may not work. All you need is a clear plan, a free community, and the knowledge of exactly what sells.
